Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day!

Ahhh Mothers Day… an emotional day for me to write about.  It is a day where we sincerely look at all the mothers in our lives and we really truly wish them a Happy Mothers Day.  It’s almost as if we exchange a much larger sentiment than those three short words.  As I look at the moms I hold so near and dear I am really saying this:  I am so proud to parent in your footsteps and along side of you.  I know what you do each day, what you give, and how you love.  I know your dedication, your ability to persevere, and the pride you carry around inside of you each and every day.  I know how you worry, how you show your concern, how you get frustrated and how you make mistakes.  All in the name of being a mother… you wear a thousand hats, you’ve made a million meals, and I am sure on certain days you fit in 25 hours of work in the 24 hours you have been given.  So to all my Mamma’s on mothers day… When I wish you a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY… I am really saying – You are made of titanium and thank goodness I can parent in front of you, beside you and behind you – for some of you have paved my way, some of you hold me up, some of you walk along side of me and all of you inspire me!!
