Look After You

Its Friday morning and the end of a long week.  Somewhere between hockey practice, school work, sibling banter, making lunches. prepping dinner, and the like I have found myself a wee bit exhausted.  Not too mention that over time I can often lose my perspective forgetting what needs my love and attention and what doesn’t.

It is our job as parents not to run ourselves into the ground.  We need to take care of ourselves for two reasons:  the first being so that we can keep going forward with patience and the second is so that our children are witness to an example of how to take care of oneself.

So this weekend I invite you to find some space that is all about you.  xo

If there is anything that we wish to change in the child, we should first examine it and see whether it is not something that could better be changed in ourselves.
